JULY 7 – 10 2014

Your 7-14 year old son or daughter will participate in a fun learning soccer experience, coached by top European coaches. Coaches who are originally from Scotland, England and Spain and have coached for clubs like Glasgow Rangers, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, and Leeds United will be coming to Kansas City to run a soccer camp for your soccer player.

Residential campers will stay in air-conditioned dorms at Avila University. The boys and girls will be separated by floors and staff. There will be counselors on each hall. Residents may select their own roommate or we will assign a roommate for them. Each room will house two campers. All camp activities are supervised by our coaching staff, including camp director Chris Clements. Female coaches will also be on hand and will be supervising the girls.

There will be daily opportunities for campers to be coached by European coach while participating in fun team building activities ran by Avila University soccer players.

A qualified athletic trainer will be on duty at all sessions. Check-in will take place between 8:00an to 8:30 am Monday at the Maybee Fieldhouse, on Avila’s campus. All campers should be checked in by 8:45 am so we can start our first session on time. Check out will occur immediately following the Awards Ceremony at approximately noon on Thursday. (Awards ceremony will happen on the soccer field at 11:30am) family members are invited to attend the awards ceremony.

 Facilities / Services
Campers will eat at the Avila University’s cafeteria where the food is prepared by the campus dining services.
Advice for Campers
Weather permitting; all sessions will take place on Avila University’s turf soccer field. In the event of inclement weather, sessions will be moved indoors. Therefore, we require players to bring turf or grass cleats, as well as flat bottom futsal or tennis shoes.

Flat bottom will also be needed for the dining, where cleats with spikes are not allowed.

Bring a reusable bottle for water.

Lastly, bring a fun positive attitude and three of your best friends to be coached by the top coaches in Europe
